Workshops are available to organisations wishing to offer opportunities to parents or carers they are supporting.
Parenting Workshops may be suitable for Schools, charities, or organisations working with families.

Workshops are available to organisations based in the South East of England, I can offer both courses at the organisations own premises or for small groups I can offer my own premises in Maidstone, Kent. I am able to offer half day, one day or a block of evening courses. Examples of specific course courses are shown below, I am also able to offer specifically designed courses for organisational needs.

Confident Parents / Confident children
Developing your assertiveness skills in dealing with your child / children
This is a fun and interactive workshop aimed at building confidence in parents. It will provide an environment to enable parents to feel confident in setting the expectations they want for their child /children and consider how to achieve this effectively.

Developing your parenting tool kit
This is a stimulating and fun workshop. The aim is to help parents to understand their dominant parenting style and how this can be built on. It will also explore, expose and challenge the many expectations parents can carry in order that parents can let go of unrealistic expectations on themselves and their children.

Dealing with aggression and anger in children
This is a workshop aimed as a response to many of the requests for family coaching I receive. This workshop will explore managing temper tantrums verbal abuse and defiant behaviour. The day will explore why this behaviour develops and ways to address it safely and effectively.

Surviving adolescence
This workshop addresses the specific challenges of caring for teenagers. It will focus on managing mood changes, coping with your young person testing boundaries, exploring their identity and dealing with safety issues. This will be a fun and informative workshop that addresses the areas that many parents find challenging.

Surviving the early years effectively
This workshop aims to focus on baby and toddler years and is an ideal day for new parents, those planning a family as well as anyone going through the terrible two's. This is a fun and informative workshop that will help you enjoy this period with your child. The workshop aims to help parents build on their skills to respond to young children effectively. The day will also explore how a parent can maintain their own sense of themselves outside of parenthood. There will also be an opportunity to learn and explore creative play with children.
