JM works with an organization that is funded by her local authority and which has referred a number of people to us for help.
It was therefore a bit harsh that JM and her children should find themselves in need as a result of an acrimonious separation from the husband and father.
He had subjected JM to domestic violence which, with other problems, impacted on the children.
JM and the children had to move into private rented property, which made finances extremely tight, and they could not afford to buy the computer that the children needed for their school work and business studies.
Family help was not available as it had been exhausted on the costs of moving into rented housing.
