TF of Northamptonshire

This case was referred to us by the Northampton County Council Disabled Children’s Team. 

TF and her husband have three children including son D who has cervical myelitis and is paralysed from the neck down. 

D gets a lot of pleasure from using the computer and play station but he needed a mouth-controlled control system to enable him to use it.

The supplier of these is in the United States and the cost of a unit was 269 dollars which was more than the family budget would stand.

We were pleased to make the funds available and little D is now able to work and play on his computer to his heart’s content.
