TC of High Wycombe
We were approached by Connection of High Wycombe which is a Support Team funded by the Local Authority.
Their client, TC, has had major health problems including a brain haemorrhage, epilepsy, depression, DVT’s, testicular cancer, and hip replacements.
His marriage had broken down, his wife had moved to Wales taking their 13-year old son J with her, and J had not seen his dad for more than 12 months – causing some strain on the relationship as he was desperate to do so and couldn’t understand why TC couldn’t arrange it. The last time they did see each other was for just 2 days!
After considering the possibilities of providing funding for TC to go to Wales, and for him and J to spend a few days together there, the family and Connections finally decided that the ideal arrangement was for J’s mum to bring him to High Wycombe and for J, his dad and J’s granny to spend an extended period of quality time together, in High Wycombe, at a venue with which all three were comfortable – then for J’s mum to collect him again at the end of his stay.
So that’s what was done and we paid the necessary funds into Connections bank account for them to disburse as needed.
