HT of Windsor
HT is herself disabled and her 13-year old son, J, is autistic.
J needed a new wardrobe for his clothes which were previously hung on open racks – they attracted dust and looked quite unsightly.
HT contacted her local Rotary Club in Feb 05 to see if they might help but, up to Sept 05, she’d not had a response.
We asked HT to choose a suitable new wardrobe from a store locally and it was delivered direct to them - they merely had to screw on the handles.
Neither HT nor J had been away for ages and they needed a holiday. They chose Butlins at Bognor Regis and we booked them a break on a half-board basis so that HT could also have a rest from food shopping and cooking.
We made sure they had a villa on the ground floor, close to the main activities in the complex, to accommodate J’s walking difficulties.
