Grants
We do not limit the disadvantages that can be considered for help. For example, if you have children who are affected by:
Their own disability.
- Impaired learning abilities.
- The disability of their parents.
- Pressure upon income
- Or any other cause.
We can considered grant applications, whatever the disadvantage provided that:
- The disadvantaged children are under 18 years of age.
- The need for our help is genuine.
- The help given will primarily benefit disadvantaged children rather than members of extended family.
For example:
- Equipment that cannot be readily accessed elsewhere.
- Educational facilities.
- Therapeutic services.
- Help with transport needs.
We allocate grants on individual merit and in consideration of
the funds available at that time.
If we cannot support agreed grants immediately through lack of funds, those applications will be placed on a waiting list until funds are adequate and assuming the need still exists.
