LS and her husband have their daughter A, aged 14, and their son E, aged 7.
E has Autistic Spectrum Disorder plus speech and language delays which gave him severe communication difficulties.
These led to extreme frustrations and aggressive behaviour.
E attended an activity centre each Saturday in which there was a sensory room with a large bubble tube and LS saw that, when E sat in front of this, he became relaxed and calm - a state which lasted for some time. She wondered if we could provide a bubble tube for E to use regularly at home.
We undertook considerable research into bubble tubes and provided E with a 2 metre model, complete with fixing bracket, so he could have it in his bedroom for use at any time.
The cost was £606 - a price well worth paying for the enormous benefit we understand E now gains.
