IA of Swansea
IA and his wife have three children one of whom is A, aged 7, who has rickets, hypatonia and development delays.
A attends a class of seven at a local special school who told us she is a busy, happy little girl who, despite her difficulties, is always cheerful, energetic, who does her best and is a pleasure to teach.
A loves learning and, at school, she has the use of a touch-screen computer as she is not able to use a conventional mouse. Both IA and the school felt A would greatly benefit if she could have a similar computer system at home with which to continue her learning.
Our trustees were pleased to meet the cost of £1000 to provide a new computer with a touch-screen for A but also the normal keyboard and mouse accessories for the able bodied in the family.
