British Summer Time Rule
From the last Sunday in March until the last Sunday in October the UK moves its clocks forward from Greenwich Mean Time by one hour (GMT+1). This is known as British Summer Time or BST for short. The UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain consists of England, Wales and Scotland. Since 1996 all clocks in the European Union, of which the UK is a member state, have changed on same dates and at the same time, 1am GMT.

Changing the date and time is one of the most common queries that we receive. Please see below a list of links to instructions, which tell you how to change the date and time for specific systems.
Meridian Modular / Compact
PLACE THE PROGRAMMING OVERLAY ON ANY M7310 OR M7324 HANDSET.
1. Press feature ** 23646
The Display will now read password
2. Enter the administration password. (23646)
The Display will now read 1.Sys Speed Dial
3. Press Next until the display reads “3.Time and Date”
4. Press Show
The Display will now read reads “Time”
5. Press Change
The Display reads “Hour”
6. Press Change
7. Enter the hour HH (12 or 24 Hour format)
8. Press Next
The Display Reads “Minutes”
9. Press Change
10. Enter The Minutes MM
11. Press Next
12. Press Change to toggle between Am and Pm then Press release to exit.

Meridian Modular / Compact Plus
Place the programming overlay on extension 221 (or lowest extension number if you do not have an extension 221) and use an M7310 or M7324 handset.
1. Press feature ** 266344
The Display will now read password
2. Enter the administration password. (23646)
The Display will now read “Terminals and Extns”
3. Press Next until the display reads “Time and Date”
4. Press Show
The Display reads “Time”
5. Press Change
The Display reads “Hour”
6. Press Change
7. Enter the hour HH (12 or 24 Hour format)
8. Press Next
The Display Reads “Minutes”
9. Press Change
10. Enter The Minutes MM
11. Press Next
12. Press Change to toggle between AM and PM then Press release to exit
The above is the overlay for the M7310 and M7324 handsets. It is placed over the keys that are lit when in programming mode.

The above here shows the key layout for the new version handsets M7310N and M7324N mainly used on the Norstar Plus.
The latest Norstar Plus has a short cut to advance/retard the clock by one hour so it may be worth trying the following from extension 221.
Feature **393 to more clock forward 1 hour
Feature **2225 to move clock back 1 hour

Enter the Hour HH (00-12)
Enter the Minute MM (1-59)
Dial 0 for AM or 1 for PM
6. Press Autodial button
Return Memory switch to original position
