Couples
TEXAS ? A wonderful VIP family secured the services of our lady MASTER CHEF & her husband, a skilled HOUSEMANAGER/BUTLER/VALET to care for the family of 5. So thrilled were they with their new staff, that they sent us their friends as new clients, who moved to London on a 2 year sabbatical and who recruited a similar couple here. Both posts carried salaries of $140,000 with separate apartments.
In THE LOIRE VALLEY we secured 2 couples for a remote chateau ? CHEF & HOUSEMANAGER and HOUSEKEEPER/HOUSEMAN ? both positions offered top salaries and excellent accommodation.
In LONDON- our long-term American clients asked us to replace their retiring Hutchinson's couple after 10 years ? a superb BUTLER/SECURITY & HOUSEKEEPER couple succeeded in securing this role at ?65,000 per annum.
In BERKSHIRE ? we secured a place for our delightful Sri Lankan HOUSEKEEPER/MAID and HOUSEMAN at ?30,000 with a cottage and for the same client a GARDENER/HANDYMAN & FAMILY COOK/HOUSEKEEPER at ?35,000.
IN PROVENCE our American Banking client + family required a top notch CHEF & HOUSEKEEPER/HOUSEMANAGEMENT COUPLE ? we were able to locate a superb young couple with a 5* hotel background to fit the bill at a salary of $4,000 net per month with a 3 bedroom house.
In WENTWORTH our Russian clients asked us to find a HOUSEKEEPER & BUTLER @ ?800.00 a week with a lovely cottage, while in REGENTS PARK we located a superb CHEF/HOUSEMANAGER and NANNY combination to look after 3 year old triplets and their Mum & Dad. This young couple secured a salary of ?45,000 and their own apartment.
In GERMANY, long-term clients for whom we had previously located a CHEF, BUTLER, & HOUSE MANAGER for the UK home, asked us to find a COOK/HOUSEKEEPER & BUTLER/HOUSEMAN/DRIVER for their home in the Black Forest. A superb Portuguese duo accepted an offer of ?50,000 p.a. with a lovely cottage.
For ST TROPEZ/MONACO & LONDON this special client asked us to find a top notch COOK/MAID & BUTLER/PERSONAL ASSISTANT/DRIVER ? We were delighted that our old applicants agreed to take on this special job at ?800 net per week.
In LONDON a titled business couple asked that we locate a top calibre COOK/HOUSEKEEPER & CHAUFFEUR/BUTLER/VALET. We were delighted when our clients contacted us again, 2 years later, instructing us to staff their NEW YORK residence.
LONDON & LEICESTERSHIRE one client with 2 new homes asked us to find 3 couples to work between the 2 homes ? 2 COOK/HOUSEKEEPER & BUTLER/HOUSEMEN were secured at ?800 net per week together with a HEAD GARDENER & PART TIME HOUSEKEEPER for the Country house at ?500 per week.
IN GENEVA, we located a superb CHEF/HOUSEMANAGER & STEWARDESS couple for a chalet and for the same family, a similar couple for their property on LAKE GENEVA, while in several countryside properties we found HOUSEKEEPER/SIMPLE COOK & HANDYMAN/GARDENER/DRIVER combination couples at ?350-650 a week.

In LONDON we have filled several TOP FLIGHT SECRETARY/PERSONA ASSISTANT ROLES ? For our long term Art Gallery Owner a young lady with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and for our Russian clients, a RUSSIAN-speaking GIRL FRIDAY both at ?35,000 per annum.
For clients with interior design offices in LONDON, FRANCE & MANCHESTER, we secured the employment of an excellent FLUENT FRENCH speaking lady with superb computer skills and in depth knowledge in interior design@ ?37,000.

Butlers, Valets and House Managers
LONDON - NEW YORK - FLORIDA: INTERNATIONAL HOUSE MANAGER Required to run the 4 homes of a well-known industrialist and his wife, overseeing a large household staff in all residences. Mark stole the show with a 2 bedroom flat, superb travel opportunities and a package in the region of ?85,000 for this client, we have also located a 2* MICHELIN CHEF, BUTLER, HOUSEMAN & HEAD HOUSEKEEPER.
In NEWBURY-BERKS ? HOUSEMANAGER ?a person with superb front of house skills went to a VIP family ? This applicant had to be multi skilled and able to stand in for the chef at the weekends. Our applicant Paul was a trained chef and butler and achieved a salary of ?55,000 together with 2-bedroom cottage for his family & car.
BETWEEN LONDON & CANADA ? an INTERNATIONAL HOUSE MANAGER was needed to run two homes for a well-known businessman, act as a personal butler & valet at a salary of ?70,000.
In TEXAS, wonderful long term clients recruited a skilled American guy from us who was to care for a family of 9 and several junior staff in the role of BUTLER/HOUSEMANAGER & CHEF ? Tim achieved $90,000 and nice apartment.
NEW YORK-HOUSE MANAGER ? Our contacts at the Guild of British Butlers sent us a first-class applicant who stole the interviews and obtained this wonderful post, running the home of an international businessman, caring for 25 staff members and obtaining a salary of $140,000 & his own apartment.
TRAVELLING VALET ? a very busy client with his own jet and boat required a young, dynamic, expert valet. Our applicant Julius received a starting salary of ?35,000 tax-free and has since traveled the world. While in lazy LINCOLNSHIRE ?our titled client asked for a " TRADITIONAL BUTLER "? Jeeves where are you? Gosh, that was a tough one, but we did locate an old fashioned, properly trained and previously experienced gentleman, who had worked his way up the domestic service ladder from footman, to under butler and Head Butler over a 30 year period to take on this wonderful country home and care for it's employers @ ?25,000 with a cottage for the family.
THE CITY LIVERY COMPANY for whom we found a CHIEF STEWARD (I hate to admit almost 15 years ago!) asked us to locate a SILVERMAN to care for the silver vaults @ ?25,000. and an eminent RUSSIAN family required the services of 3 DAILY BUTLER/STEWARDS to work at their country residence in Surrey. Working on a shift system ? 2 days on and 2 days off @ ?55,000
In REGENTS PARK a VIP MIDDLE EASTERN DIPLOMAT, required a HEAD BUTLER to run an important and busy residence. Jorge secured his own superb house in the grounds & ?40,000.
Far away in PALM BEACH FLORIDA & NEWPORT RHODE ISLAND USA, our special long-term clients have asked us over a period of many years to find them a full staff. We have succeeded in recruiting via our US offices: - HOUSEMANAGER @ $100,000, CHEF @ $90,000, BUTLER $60,000, VALET $60,000 ASSISTANT BUTLER VALET @ $55,000.
In LONDON ? A YOUNG MIDDLE EASTERN GENTLEMAN required a TRAVELLING, COMPUTER-LITERATE BUTLER/PERSONAL ASSISTANT @ $50,000 while another SINGLE BUSINESSMAN, this time in the USA, asked us to find a BUTLER/COOK/DRIVER/VALET/HOUSEKEEPER to run the home. LONDON/ANTIBES/LEICESTERSHIRE ? Strongly skilled French/Mediterranean style cooking required by this Anglo/American couple ? working between London home & business, the country residence and French home, our young chef was awarded ?45,000.
EARLS COURT, LONDON a delightful American Family hired our superb 2 AA Rosette chef James. He had recently sold his highly successful restaurant and wanted a change of scene. ?35,000 so thrilled were our clients, that their friend in CHELSEA hired our ex "Chefs-on-The-Run" & Cuisine Mancier trained chef Chris for ?45,000.
NEWBURY a well known entrepreneur and gourmand required the services of a top calibre International style chef for special business and social entertainment functions. Paul pleased the palate at ?55,000 + house.
IRELAND ? long-term clients in County Wicklow required a house chef for family and functions. EU35,000 + cottage. A close friend of this client ? an international racehorse breeder and entrepreneur also took a 3 AA Rosette chef from our register.
HAMPSHIRE ? Clients with a Soil Association Certified Organic business asked us for a chef with strong Mediterranean skills. Jo left his Head Chef's Post at a 4* AA recommended restaurant after 5 years to fill this post,. ?37,000 + Flat.
GLOUCESTERSHIRE ? We located a 2* MICHELIN CHEF to work between various homes and on board the yacht for this client - ?45,000. Now, 2 years on this chef had his own highly acclaimed restaurant in Central London ? Like Gordon Ramsay, he is after his 3rd star.

Hutchinson's have located housekeepers as far away as HAMILTON, BERMUDA and more locally in LONDON, for an AMBASSADOR'S RESIDENCE.
KENSINGTON ? HEAD HOUSEKEEPER employed to run the important town house for a well-known entrepreneurial couple and travel with them to their worldwide homes. Our successful applicant secured a superb 2-bed apartment and ?40,000.

Gardeners, Estate & Stud Managers
We located a highly skilled ex-THOROUGHBRED MANAGER to run a 500-acre property and oversee a breeding stud of 200 horses in the West Country ? similarly we have found 4 different top caliber GROOMS for this client.
In France we secured a GROOM/HOUSEKEEPER for old Hutchinson's clients with a holiday and weekend home in Toulouse.
We were successful in filling a selection of gardeners posts from HEAD GARDENER on a 12 acre estate in Henley offering ?27,000 + 3 bedroom cottage, to a wonderful post in BUCKINGHAM for a GROUNDSMAN/HANDYMAN to care for a weekend residence caring for 4 acres, the property and grounds. ?25,000 and a cottage secured our applicant. In Hampshire an elderly couple required a single gardener to care for a 2 acre property - ?15,000 + studio flat.

Yacht Crew
For one of our oldest and most valued clients, we have over the past 4 years located 2 CHEFS @ $7,000 & 2 CHIEF STEWARDESSES @ $5,000 for a new build Benetti, which owner cruises in the Mediterranean and Caribbean ? over the years, this client has asked us for 2 BUTLERS in LONDON, A COUPLE IN FRANCE and a GARDENER in FRANCE.
The CHIEF STEWARD post came up on one of the biggest, privately owned yachts in the world. For 6 years we have looked after this 206' Motor yacht finding HEAD CHEF, sOUS- CHEF, CHIEF STEWARDESS and NURSES ? salaries are all at the top end of the market.
Another of our longest term clients recently ordered a new 40m Motor yacht ? again we secured for this boat the CAPTAIN @ $7,000 CHIEF STEWARD @ $5,5000 & CHEF @ $4,500.
