GRASSE –SOUTH OF FRANCE - COUPLE
HOUSEKEEPER/FAMILY COOK & HANDYMAN/GARDEN MAINTENANCE/DRIVER- Informal family with four small children aged 8 years down to 7 months This is a holiday home of approx 10-11,000 Square feet, just outside Grasse in the hills of Cannes. The property is only used for approximately 3 months of the year, of which- 2 months in the summer and the rest of the time to coincide with school holidays. Occasionally the family are in residence over Christmas and New Year. Close family members also use the property very occasionally between these times. When the owners are in residence the working hours will be 8-6pm with 2 half days off per week. These longer hours are only during the principals time in residence, outside these times is less demanding and the couple are expected to monitor and plan their own time.
The duties on a daily basis are all general housekeeping to include cleaning, washing and ironing and preparation of light, fresh healthy family food. There is a travelling nanny who accompanies the children, so very little childcare but as there are four children – the couple do need to enjoy the company of children.
The gentleman is required to have good handyman skills and be able to maintain the interior and exterior of the property. There is approx 3 acres of gardens, which includes lawns, flower beds and terraces around the swimming pool. Part of the gardens is Olive Trees and a tennis court which is maintained by external contractors.
The couple are required to have experience in domestic service, have energy, enthusiasm and a warm and happy personality. It is essential that the couple speak some  French- well enough to communicate with local contractors.

General duties are day to day general housekeeping, the housekeeper being pro-active, having attention to detail and be able to notice when empty rooms need servicing. The housekeeper should also be able to care for the family laundry and be prepared very occasionally to prepare fresh family meals. It is vital that the housekeeper is able to work with 2 other housekeepers, a rota system will require a degree of flexibility to ensure that one housekeeper is on duty at all times.
The gentleman should have all good gardening skills, not necessarily be qualified, but enjoy gardening and be able to work as part of a team.

The gentleman is required to be very hands on and be a practical person–he must have “groundsman” expertise including use of a chain saw and be able and willing to spend some of the time helping the owner on the corporate side of the Estate. The estate provides an ultimate venue for activities, including clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, off road driving, hence there are numerous vehicles to maintain, a mechanical background would be ideal.
The gardens around the house need to be maintained, which will include lawn mowing, caring for the vegetable patch etc, domestic animals include chickens, ducks and 2 dogs one of which is a working dog.
The Estate manager will also be responsible for the security side of the estate and must be able to work as a part of a team. This position is demanding from the physical sense and hence requires a fit and strong person.

Senior Butler required to oversee and care for 4 VIP residences in Paris - being responsible for a team of 4 butlers - overseeing food and beverage departments and ensuring good working practices throughout each residence. LONDON SW7 - ASSISTANT BUTLER/HOUSE MANAGER
Non-smoker, kind hearted, but with the ability to deal with difficult people, when required, in a diplomatic manner at all times. Must have the ability to be strong when required. Loyal, honest, hard working animal lover to assist the Executive Property Manager. Working in the London residence of the principal, responsible for the management and administration of this property, and also of three other properties in London, which are owned by the same family. Organise maintenance work, shopping, work schedules, expenses, flights and accommodation for the employers' and their staff, purchase personal items and generally deal with anything to do with the clients properties and lives, whether they are in residence or not. Other duties will include supervising staff, hire and train new staff members, obtain visas, make sure that the cars are looked after, pay bills, liaise with staff in the other residences and to occasionally travel to the other residences when required. When the principal and/or his family are in residence, provide butler service for them and guests, serving all meals, organising entertainment, valeting clothes, supervising the household work and staff and look after their every need. Occasionally provide service for Family members in the other London properties and also make sure that the satellite TV, sound, lighting, heating and cooling systems are always working. Ability to familiarise with these systems is necessary. Reporting to the House Manager, not the principles, in charge of all properties in Europe and the US, and providing support to him as well. This post would suit a young, dynamic second/third jobber. This is a new position for a property/estate manager required to oversee this residence for a prominent Russian family. The principles are generally in residence during the summer months and the property manager will not be required to travel with them to their other residences.
